Jonathan “Loda” Berg, the coach of Alliance’s Dota 2 team, said that he expects the team to win The International 2020. According to Berg, his team is rapidly progressing and in a year will become a contender for Aegis of Champions.
Jonathan Loda Berg:
“I don’t think we have so many problems. We missed the last major. and, of course, it is sad. But all teams have bad times. Alliance worked very hard after the failure, found a lot of things that could be improved.
I am very pleased with the progress of the team. The fans criticize us a lot, but from the very beginning we had a very long-term plans. This year we hope to get to TI and show good performance. But our main goal is to win TI in 2020. If we manage to keep this roster, then I am sure that we will have chances for that. ”
Berg played for Alliance from 2013 to 2018, with a short break in 2017. After that, he became a club coach. Under his leadership, Alliance participated in two majors of the 2018/2019 season, but was unable to climb above the 9-12th place, and failed to qualify for the DreamLeague Major.
