The Peruvian team Infamous is caught up once again in a roster shuffle. The South American organization has had much difficulty retaining a stable roster over the last few months.
In March, the team recruited Oliver ‘oliver’ Lepko and Malthe ‘Biver’ Winther, both teammates and formerly of Team Spirit to complete their lineup in time for the MDL Disneyland Major and Dota PIT Minor qualifiers. Unfortunately for the team, they failed to clinch a spot in either.
Now, changes are back on the menu again.
Only one week ago the organization bid farewell to Joel Mori ‘MoOz’ Ozambela. This was followed by the departure of on and off again Midlane player Enzo ‘Timado’ Gianoli. Timado was part of the team in 2017 when the South Americans went to TI7.
With both MoOz and Timado out of the picture, the organization is down to three players and none of them are from Peru.
Infamous is currently sitting in 20th position in the DPC leaderboards with 95 points, but will lose another 20% of their points for Timado’s departure. There is only one more set of Minor/Major qualifiers for the season, and chances are low that the South American organization will see an invite to TI9, however, shuffles now can help the teams find the strategies and cohesion they need to gain a spot to TI9 through qualifiers.
