5th billionth match played in Dota 2

On September 1, the number of matches played in Dota 2 exceeded five billion games. The anniversary took place on the server of Southeast Asia in the Ranked game. The game lasted for 52 minutes and 14 seconds.

Most of the players in the match performed with the rank of “Ancient.” Each side had one group of two players. The victory was won by the side of Dire - Tinker, Spirit Breaker, Lifestealer, Lion and Juggernaut.

Dota 2 was announced on October 13, 2010, and the game was released on July 9, 2013. Valve began sending out the first invitations to closed beta testing in 2011 after Gamescom.
